Michael Schumacher to Donate $10 Million to Aid in Tsunami Relief

Formula One World Champion Michael Schumacher plans to donate $10 million to aid efforts for tsunami victims in Asia. This generous donation will be by far the largest single donation made by a sports or entertainment celebrity so far.

The announcement was made by Willi Weber, manager of both of the Schumacher brothers, on Tuesday in a telephone call to a fund-raiser on German television.

The December 26 disaster killed an estimated 150,000 people and left 5 million in need.
