Fisichella Wins 2003 Brazilian GP

Revised result. Giancarlo Fisichella was awarded the victory of last week’s accident-shortened Brazilian Grand Prix today.

Fisichella had been leading when the race was red-flagged but the rules state that the final positions should be those two laps before the race is stopped. The stewards had not noticed but Fisichella had been four seconds into his third lap since he took the lead and so the victory was his.
