Ferrari Manager Jean Todt said that a problem with the rear brakes on Schumacher’s car caused his crash in the opening lap of yesterday’s British Grand Prix. The cause of the problem is still under investigation.

Originally it had been thought that a sticking throttle could have caused him to straight line the corner and skid straight across the gravel into the tyre barrier.
